hey there, friend!

I’m Caity, and it’s so nice to meet you in this more personal and relaxed space! Welcome
to encouragement & slow living.

about

If you ended up here, then that means that you’re looking for me, Caity Neub, and not my husband (the man who runs the incredible woodworking business that the rest of this site is about). I am a wife, mama, and woman of God living in the lush valleys of Ohio and attempting to cultivate a space where women can just be women.

No striving. No earning. No labeling. Just women, together, listening to God and noticing each other.

In a world that promotes self and everything flashy or “successful,” we are called to an ordinary, daily faithfulness that often looks a little bit dull by comparison. I’d like to encourage you in that. I’d like to stand with you as you go along. And I’d like to offer a few tools that have helped me along the way.

If you want to receive a freebie from me right away, and get news about my upcoming book that I can’t wait to put straight into your hands, then be sure to sign up for my email list! (Just fill out the form on the right.)

what’s new

I have been honored to be featured on…

I was also interviewed for my local online newspaper, Richland Source! Read that article here.

the podcast

One of my favorite ways to reach into your life is with my podcast, The Clarity Show! I create one new episode each month, so you have thirty days to listen and then that episode goes poof and you get a new one to replace it.

(This method keeps things uncomplicated for me and enjoyably subtle for you. You’re welcome.)

my book

After many months and moons spent waiting and working and wondering, my book, Let the Earth Spin, is now a reality! Besides being available as a paperback and an ebook, my book will also receive an exciting secret launch party to announce its debut! Jump on my email list in order to receive an invite!

(Keep reading for the description + details.)

Pre-order: CLOSED.

Official release date: March 3rd!

“If you grew up in a church, a Christian home, or immersed in another form of moral guidelines, then you were trained to hear a voice in your head. A voice that told you things like: Be better. Try harder. Follow all the rules. Stop failing so much. You're a disappointment. What you do will never be enough.

Somewhere along the way, many of us began to equate this judgmental, conscience-like nagging with the voice of God. And so, fearing His intense scrutiny, we began to tune out His voice altogether.

We stopped wanting to listen. We grew afraid to hear.

Those of us who became mothers found ourselves stuck in a never-ending cycle of stress, anxiety, depression, and shame, all the while scrambling to find a way to feel loved apart from what we did, to find a way back to God after we had done so much that displeased Him.

This, right here, is the place where you can learn to hear His voice again—the tone and truth that actually belongs to Him, the heart that He has towards you, and the roles He's given you to play within your tiny plot on the Earth. I’ll give you a hint: Mom-Guilt Queen, People-Pleaser, and Worrywart aren't on the list of roles He has for you.

God wants to whisper to your weary, worried heart: Though our planet spins at an alarming rate, you don’t have to.

God is not expecting you to keep up. He is not expecting you to “get it together.” He is not expecting more out of you at all—in fact, He wants to give more to you.”

Come discover this more along with me in my book, Let the Earth Spin, NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!

Within its pages, I share everything that motherhood unearthed in me as I raised my firstborn, then twins, and then hit four kids under the age of four! In this place of tension and transformation, God opened my heart to hearing His voice instead of mine, His voice instead of the world’s, His voice instead of what I imagined His voice was like. I learned to stop spinning at a pace that matched the Earth’s rotations and to sit still in the place He had for me—an identity and a purpose that nothing could touch.

stay connected

I’d love to stay in touch or, even better, meet you in person! This whole internet/technology thing keeps us apart waaaayyy too often. In the name of “connection” we have become able to text, call, or video chat anyone at anytime…which means that we rarely make the time to see each other face-to-face.

Shoot me an email if you want to chat and be sure to join my email list! The email list is the most reliable way to get information and encouragement from me. Social media? Meh. That place is designed to distract you, ignite jealousy, and causes you to feel an urgency within your relationships. Only head there if you’re good about your boundaries *wink.*
