From the mountains to the desert to the hills…
Josh Neuberger and his sizeable crew (4 kids, 1 wife, and a dog) have trekked far and wide, gaining the skills and resiliency needed to put forth this meticulous work. Beginning with a piece of wood, Josh handcrafts stunning bowls and functional stools and furniture that uses space in an efficient way.
His learning began in the mountains of Colorado, when a particular gentleman first showed him the lathe and apprenticed him in how to use it during his college years.
His skills sat on the shelf for a few years, but were re-born in the fires of fatherhood and the emptiness of the Texas desert. his work was strengthened (as things always are when they must endure desert times), and he spent time creating beautiful modern furniture for his own home.
Again he was moved, this time to the hills of Ohio, where he now resides and is able to pursue his passion with free reign, spending hours in his workshop, meticulously putting together projects that suit his customers’ needs.
Josh is a ridgewalker: he knows how to walk the line with risks on both sides, how to overcome obstacles in his journey, and how to pave the path for others behind him.
Because whether you know it or not, you were meant to be a ridgewalker, too, and having the courage to do so begins in your own home. The things that surround you will either add quality and beauty…or they will be cheap imitations that distract and hinder you from living your life well.
